Summary
This retreat is unique. You will be learning about Astrology and your birth chart, whilst also exploring it experientially for the purposes of healing, and working with crystals to help access and shift things energetically. All held within the beautiful and dramatic Highlands of Scotland. This is ideal for those who are on a path of self-development and wish to deepen their self-knowledge in a tranquil and stunning setting.
Within the retreat the Zodiac is created on the floor, using glyphs of the planets and houses. You will step inside the Zodiac and experience for yourself the dynamics and quality of the different placements, whilst doing healing work to help release blockages within and bring you more into alignment with who you really are.

Description
The Zodiac, rather than being something remote on a piece of paper, or something taught by somone, instead becomes something alive, and fully accessible to all the senses. The exploration and awareness of every individual is unique but participants have variously reported a mixture of images, or of specific memories coming to them, or feelings of like/dislike heat/cold, or of their own bodies reacting in certian ways to the house and planetary positions of a chart.
The overall approach is from a spiritual and life purpose perspective. The natal chart is the soul's blueprint which can be worked with to help heal deep stuck patterns. A chart is like a road map of why we are here, what we have been before, and what we hope to be in the future. It contains our strengths and weaknesses, as well as unconscious hidden aspects of ourselves that may be blocking our growth.

Pick up/drop off service
About our pick up/drop off service
Please note, as we live in a more remote part of Scotland, we offer this service as a way to make our retreats more accessible to participants and also of lower cost to get to us (taxis/cabs can be very expensive and buses are very infrequent and take a long time). Because of this we do ask participants to be understanding and flexible in pick up/drop off times.
Stirling Train Station pick up/drop off service
Stirling is the train station closest to us. Its about a 40 minute drive from us. We are happy to arrange to pick you up and drop you back off there if required. This pick up and drop off service is at a special cost of £18 each way for retreat participants. We can do pick ups until midday on the day of the retreat. For drop offs please see info below.
Glasgow International or Edinburgh airports pick up/drop off service
Edinburgh Airport is just over an hour from us by car. Glasgow International Airport is about an hour fifteen minutes from us by car. We are happy to arrange to pick you up and drop you off back at either airport. This airport pick up and drop off service is at a special cost of £30 each way for retreat participants. We can do pick ups at the airport until midday on the day of the retreat. For drop offs please see info below.
Train and Airport Pick ups
If participants are arriving the day before the retreat begins we are usually able to pick you up most times of day - but please check with us first in case we are doing multiple pick-ups that day in which case you may need to wait. For the day of the retreat itself we can do pick ups only until 12 midday.
Train and Airport Drop offs
Please note we only do one drop off per participants at the end of the retreat. So, for example, if your train or plane leaves at 3pm, but someone else needs dropping off at 10am, then we will be giving you a lift to catch your train/plane earlier in the morning. Please get in touch with us if you have questions about this on booking.

BOOKINGS and ENQUIRIES
Location
The retreat is held at Creagan House, a very historic building, with the oldest part dating back to 1638. Creagan House is located in Strathyre, north of Callander, in central Scotland, in the Highlands and within the Trossachs National Park, and surrounded by forests, lochs and mountains.
Behind our retreat centre, there are walks and hikes straight into the hills, and forests with stunning views. There is a waterfall only a three-minute walk up behind the house. This waterfall flows down into a burn that runs right past Creagan House, and which we have seating by, so participants can enjoy the beauty of the large stream flowing by.
The famous Rob Roy way goes right past our centre at the back, just a short uphill walk away. The village of Strathyre is only a couple of minutes walk away, containing a post office and shop. If you have a car, there are lots of places to visit nearby, such as dramatic waterfalls, lochs and the popular Scottish small town of Callander.
We get a wide variety of birds visiting our garden, as well as frequent red squirrels, and often deer may be spotted on the hill and mountain walks. The area locally is known for its milky quartz and while here you could hike the peak opposite: 'Ben Shian' (which translates as 'the fairy hill').

Sheila (April 26)
It was just an amazing retreat! Rob is just so knowledgable about everything he teaches and we always have fun, and laughter. The food is also fantastic. Everything is exceptional. I'm going away with so much more understanding of myself, of which I'm sure will help me in my further plan/life. Andreas (April 26) It was even better than I could ever have imagined. The group was perfect - we matched perfectly and that made it even better. I loved every bit. I've never seen this combo, and everything really flowed at the pace of the group and that made it perfect for me. It was the best decision of my life. Sandra (2023) I spent 5 days on the Astro Crystal workshop, and it was transformational. The workshop was experiential, so I literally felt the quality of the energy in each part of my birth chart. I went through the planets in my birth chart, released blockages and healed the energy at a very deep level. During the process Robert held the space with wisdom and humour. Creagan House is in the Scottish Highlands. It is a comfortable and deeply nurturing space with log fires, beautiful scenery and delicious, locally sourced, nourishing food. Perfect. Wendy (2023) The AstroCrystal Workshop was an extraordinary experience. By stepping into my birth chart, energetic blockages became clear and with Rob's guidance and the help of crystals I was able to release them to bring me back to an equilibrium. I found the Light within me once again. Kate (2024) Exceptional Experience! I was attracted by Astrology, crystals and healing. The result is Healing. Rob and Milan were exceptional hosts. The retreat experience was perfect in every way. Anne (2024) I just was drawn to the retreat from the description. I loved learning about crystals and astrology. Too many good things to list. Rob is an outstanding teacher. The food is outstanding. The hosts are amazing. The accommodations and surrounding property is amazing. |
Hilary (April 26)
A transformative week - literally life changing. Full of laughs, fun, friendship and learning. I didn't really know what to expect - it exceeded expectations anyway! Was thinking when I can come back..? Everything was fantastic. Susie (April 26) I found this retreat amazing! Welcoming, being held, so much learning both personally and generally; lots of laughter, being with other like minded, wonderful people. So refreshing, uplifting, educational and a brilliant experience. Food was tasty, hearty and wonderful also. The retreat was so much more than I could ever hope it to be. A wonderful, magical place, with lovely knowledgable people running it. Extremely recommended! Eva (2024) This retreat was truly transformative. I connected with a wonderful group of like-minded individuals, fostered a deep appreciation for Scotland's beauty, and gained a foundational understanding of using crystals for healing. Most importantly, I learned how to interpret my birth chart and understand the influence of different planets on my personality. The experience even sparked a new business idea I'm eager to explore! Rob and Milan, the hosts, were truly exceptional. Their care, genuineness, and authenticity created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rob's teaching and group facilitation skills were truly impressive, while Milan's home-cooked meals were a culinary delight. Marianne (2024) I needed guidance on future undertakings. am very interested in astrology and crystals. It offered clear ideas about spiritual development. I liked EVERYTHING, but I was most impressed with our facilitator and cook, who were very genuine and empathetic human beings. I felt nourished mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I have a clearer idea of what I want to do in the future and how to go about it. This retreat is highly recommended. |
