Botswana Agate Tumbles - Large
This is a stunning grey, brown and white layered crystal. Every one has unique and different stripes. Sometimes there is also pink in it. It's mined in Botswana, South Africa. The volcanic activity that created them dates them to 200 million years old.
Weight approx: 20 to 25 grms each stone. Size Large. 20 by 30 mms approx down longest side.
Energetic Properties A slower energy. lt has a medium to lighter grounding energy (depending on colour). It can help with the letting go of old stuck and outdated patterns. For this purpose its good to team with Snowy Quartz. A good crystal to meditate and work with when there is a need to change our old patterns.
Where to use in the Energy field At the feet for grounding, or on the base or sacral (if bit lighter in colour) chakras. It can also have a clearing quality when placed on a chakra (which is enhanced by teaming with Snowy Quartz).
Vibration and Harmony It also works well with Blue Lace Agate - this would create a calming as well as clearing quality when working with them together. Any crystal with layers in it, such as Botswana Agate, can help us to work through the layers within ourselves.
Storing with other crystals - Botswana Agate, being quartz, is 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, so fine to carry or put with your other quartz crystals as they won't scratch each other.
Cleansing - Botswana Agate is fine in all methods of cleansing e.g. under running water, in sunlight.
Other cleansing techniques safe for all crystals are using sage or sound to cleanse.
Whenever cleansing a crystal the key is to use your intention for the crystals to be cleansed by the process as you are doing it - as energy follows thought.
