Carnelian Eye Agates - banded Carnelians
Carnelian is a form of Quartz. Eye Agates are a special form of Carnelian from Botswana in Southern Africa. They are small but very beautiful and each one is unique.

Energetic Properties Carnelian is warming and can help with issues of creativity and confidence. It can help us ground and put our ideas into motion.
Where to use in the Energy field Carnelian can be used on the lower two chakras but relates most to the sacral chakra. It can be used lower down in the energy field as well as at the feet for grounding.
Vibration It complements very well a lot of blue/turquoise crystals such as Blue Chalcedony, Blue Lace Agate and Chrysocolla.
Storing with other crystals - Carnelian is 7 on the Mohs scale. However because these are rough I wouldn't put them together in a bag with smooth tumbles.
Cleansing - Because the stones are rough I would be careful with running water.
Sunlight is fine though may deepen the colour if left for a long time in the Sun.
Other cleansing techniques safe for all crystals are using sage or sound to cleanse or putting in the moonlight.
Whenever cleansing a crystal the key is to use your intention for the crystals to be cleansed by the process as you are doing it - as energy follows thought.
